I DON'T CARE THAT ITS MY SECOND POST OF THE DAY BUT OMG:

ARASHI WON THE CHANNEL V BATTLE OF THE POP COMPETITION!!!!

And i'm just saying but right from the first round, the japanese bands beat out the koreans (yes, even SHINeeee and Big Bang and Super Junior- i was equally surprised) by 7 to 1. And the only 1 korean band who survived the slaughter was TVXQ. Which suprising got killed by, of all people, Kat-tun. I was like WTF?? KAT-TUN??

And then it was Kat-tun VS Arashi in the finals, and i was like WTF? KAT-TUN???

Where the hell did kat-tun come from?!???!

But you can't stop the awesomeness that is Arashi. So they won! <33

They played A.Ra.Shi in celebration. I was insanely psyched XDDD

I was just watching the latest AU commercials (its the second, third and fourth ones in the gallery) and my goodness it was freaking adorable. The first one featured Jun the perfectionist and the second one featured Nino and his freaking adorable fear of ghosts (despite, you know, being the tsukkomi of the group and the hardcore bad-ass rocker/gamer <3), and the third one with Aiba and his awesome high-tension. it's really amazing to see their personalities come out so wonderfully in the CMs and they really look super nice and awesome in all black. Makes me want the phones. I think that's the effect of product endorsement. Its totally working on me. Did you know the reason i got my Sony E. was because Sho was endorsing the japanese version? So yeah. (laughs)

I think Arashi is one of the few groups who are able to be naturally funny and entertaining without having to try too hard. Its so FUN to watch them talk about nothing at all. Case in point, their pointless Secret Talks from their CDs (laughs)

I want to go to a karaoke and sing Arashi songs and have Arashi pop out of nowhere to surprise and sing for me live too. Damn those freaking lucky japanese girls.

Even Ooshima-sama, the most hardcore Arashi fan in the celebrity circles, couldn't get tickets to their Kokuritsu concert. it's so freaking FRUSTRATING. But man it was so amazing and heartening when she won the HnA challenge and got her date with MatsuJun. SHE GOT TO FEED HIM <3333

Apparently there is a behind-the-scene video in the anniversary DVD collection. I am THIS CLOSE to caving in and begging my dad for his credit card so i can buy it. THIS CLOSE.

So Channel V advertised that the results for the Japan VS Korea Battle of the Pop to be released last Sunday from 2pm-5pm, where the winner will then be announced at the end of the show.

I sat in front of the TV for three hours, suffering through horrendous english rock, chinese Pop, and then one hour of mixed feelings while they played a million korean songs (where 2ne1 was my only reprive) and that one measely Arashi song (Crazy Moon ~you are unbeatable~ omg such a BAD BAD translation. Or at least it sounds horrendous in English. how did kimi wo muteki become you are unbeatable???? okay fine it makes sense but only in literal translation)

I was supposed to be basking in the glory which is the (of course obvious) Arashi victory in the JvsK Battle of the Pop, but NOOOO i sat through 3 hours of BAD MUSIC and felt VERY CHEATED.

and so i stormed off to the channel V webpage, where they have very conveniently CHANGED THE PROGRAMME SCHEDULE without informing anyone.

As you can see, i was HIGHLY DISPLEASED.

So i stormed off to work, had loads of fun, and today i revisited the website in hopes that they posted the winner (which is, of course, definitely Arashi. I mean, it's Arashi VS Kat-tun. GO FIGURE.)

BUT NO.

They now say that the results will be out ON THE FIRST OF FUCKING NOVEMBER.

Which is this sunday.

When i turn on my TV this Sunday and tune in to Channel V, i better see some Arashi action.

If not, i will be BOYCOTTING THAT FUCKING CHEATER OF A CHANNEL.

I am insanely proud of the JE fans in Singapore. We totally killed the Super Junior and DBSK/TVXK fans and totally owned the finals of Channel V's Battle of the Pop JK version! I mean, like It's now Kat-tun VS Arashi, and we totally OWNED the koreans maybe. Like, hell, Arashi owned Super Junior's ass and come on TVXK LOST to Kat-tun.

Kat-tun is a group made up of idots + slut + very awesome Koki-the-rapper. Okay no i kind of like Kat-tun but i detest their music. It feels rather..wannabe. but i love the beatboxer and Taguchi (Iruguchi, deguchi, TAGUCHI DESU!) and KOKI!! <3333

but come on, Arashi fans. WE SO TOTALLY OWN THEIR ASSES MAYBE.

LET'S OWN THE BATTLE PEOPLE! VOTE FOR ARASHI AND KICK KAT-TUN'S ASSES.

I mean seriously i know it's supposed to hold some grain of truth and be historically (or mythologically depending on which camp you're from) accurate, but oh my god spare me.
