THE UTTERLY OVERDUE HOKKAIDO PIC SPAM POST.

So i arrived in Japan Tokyo first and spent 10 minutes in Narita airport. It was then that i first felt the cold. It wasn't that bad, seeing that it was like still morning, but it was a nice, comfortable kind of cold. However, it was cold enough that we could see our breaths. We quickly grabbed our luggage and got shoved on the bus, then were driven to Haneda Domestic Airport for our flight to Hokkaido, Sapporo. We passed by the ferris wheel, Tokyo bay and Disney land on the way!!! It was some awesome stuff. XD

At Haneda, we were given some time, so we grabbed some food there. Went to some small overpriced restaurant where we had Miso Ramen and Shoyu Ramen and Cha Han. IT WAS SO YUMMY. But overpriced.

And it was the first time that i experienced the toilets there. It swear, only in Japan will you appreciate the luxury of heated toilet seats. And artifical flushing sounds to hide embarrassing toilet sounds. XD

The flight to Narita. Which was utterly uncomfortable i must say. JAL is just..bleagh.

The view of Narita Airport from the bus. The dude with the bag is our Singaporean tour guide, who accompanied us all throughout from Singapore and home. Such great fun, he was. XD

We were then brought to lunch at some strange place in Sapporo by our Japanese tour guide (who only spoke Chinese. We died) and the meal...was perhaps one of the best i had in Japan. <33

The place where we had lunch. <3333 LOOK AT THE VIEW OF THE RIVER!

The first Johnny's dude we saw. I still have no idea who the HECK he is. XD

I love fir trees. They are awesome stuff. And the man at the background in our japanese Driver! And Cherry, our japanese tour guide, in the foreground.

And then it was off to the Ainu Museum, some indegenious group of people of Japan. Fairly boring, but we saw dried fish are were like OOOH. KIAM HE.

SNOWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!! And this isn't alot. WAIT TILL THE SNOW STORM! <3

Rows upon rows of dried fish. (laughs)

It's called Mizubashou, aka place of water. all in all, it's just a lake. a FROZEN lake. XD

Then it was off to our hotel. I must mention that by the time we left, it was PURE DARKNESS.

and it was only 4pm. O.O

Winter is freaky.

This was the view from the hotel room my sis and i shared. It was a Hot spring (Onsen) hotel, so i was pure awesome. And yes, i did go to the hot spring. Virgin experience and all. it was awesome. you strip outside, run inside with a small towel protecting your dignity, bathe on a stool with weird bath soaps (the popular and reccomended one was made with Horse oil. I was like O.o?? but used it anyway. ), then slowly dip yourself in the hot water.

HEAVEN. <3

And the hotspring bath was better! With the cold of the weather contrasting against the warmth of the bath...WOW.

We wore a Yukata to dinner. Pure amazing stuff. XD

and so a night was spent, and the next day came. We went to the Sulphurous hill thingy where the hot spring water is from, called hell's valley. Nothing much except for hot sulphurous steam and the bloody smell, but my mum said that the smell in Mount Fuji is much worse, and i was GLAD. <3

My favorite winter plant. It's some berry tree which gives diarroeah to humans when consumed, but crows feed on it. the mountain you see is the sulphrous valley and the steam is, well, SULPHUR. And it was freezing i tell you. FREEZING.

But it got worse later. (shudders)

My parents. It reads 'nobori betsu jikoku...something' XD Literally, Nobirbetsu hell's valley. Go figure.

In the souvenir ship. My father was being amused with this little virtual tour thing. And kept pressing the buttons. Bloody adorable. =3

And then it was off to one of my favorite places: EDO WONDERLAND!!!

Welcome to Edo Wonderland! A themepark that reflects the lifestyle of Japanese during the Edo period! Now equipped with ultra modern Vending machines! (laughs)

The hot samurai dude me and Lynn jie were flailing about. XD And it was coooold. but i didn't have time to tie my scarf properly. XD

SEAN. OMG ITS SEAN. THE HOT 12 YEAR OLD. <3333333333333333

(laughs) He calls me the 'molester' because i keep disturbing him througout the trip. I took a better picture of him. IT'S COMING UP!! <3

My sister and I. A FROZEN LAKE. A PROPERLY , fRROOOZEN LAKE.

We then watched a few shows in the wonderland, one a Ninja show of sorts which was pure win, and then a comedy drama thing. XD

Ipachi (aka Hitachi) and Mr. Panasonic (HAR HAR), a Singaporean from another tour group who we met in the place. He was a volunteer from the audience and participated in the play as the silent character. XD Hilarious stuff.

The amanzingly pretty Geisha of the play

After the play, we ended up roaming and found ourself at the haunted house, which was made all the more awesomly funny because it was NOT SCARY AT ALL, but my sister and Agatha (and friend i made at the Ninja play because, well, we started flailing about it was so Naruto. XD) were screaming their heads off, which was hilarious. Then we went to the fortune cat temple, which FREAKING HILARIOUS because the instructions were "Claps hands in front to chest, think of your wish, lift your left hand in a fist to the level of your left ear, and make a mewing sound. YOUR WISH WILL COME TRUE!" My sister and i had a blast doing it over and over again. XD It had it's own cat-themed haunted house too! though it was more adorable than scary. THEY HAD A FOX ! AND A KAPPA THAT SPRAYED WATER! Hilarious stuff.

We then went to a NINJA HOUSE. its literally a house where the interior is built so that the whole room is tilted at an angle of 45 degrees of so, so gravity works against you and you end up slamming into the walls when you enter. HILARIOUS.

It was then lunch, and we went to a seafood market of sorts, and wow. The crab. <3

FRESH CRABS.

THE CRAB WHICH BECAME OUR LUNCH. AWESOME STUFF.

Rows upon rows of Ebi (prawn) sashimi.

After lunch, my sister and i went crazy and were like UMI! UMI! UMIIII!!!! Because the sea view from the restaurant was AMAZING.

My sister trying to capture the waves. XD

My attempt.XD

From there, we went to some place where we did motor biking in the snow. My sister rode and i rode pallion, but omg, it was so beautiful. It started snowing then and the temperature dropped like crazy, but omg. it was beautiful. I took loads of pictures with my sis's cam and i WISH I CAN SHOW IT TO YOU. but it's all in my sis's comp and she refuses to share it with the world, selfish bitch she was. XD it was also there that i had my first snow fight. And encountered Red Chicken, the dude with the red jacket who kept bulliing us kids and throwing snow at us. PURE FUN. XD

Ski Resort was next where...omg. i had perhaps one of the best times ever. Firstly, the TV there is AMAZING. LIke, AMAZING. <333 And secondly. THEY. HAD. A. CAROUSEL. A FREAKING CAROUSEL IN THE FREAKING HOTEL. OH RABBIT SHOEEES.

It was plain beautiful. One of my favorite things. In fact, my FAVORITE thing of the whole trip. It's amazingly boring, the ride, but i was so entranced by the pretty lights and the pure PRETTINESS of it. Virgin experience, but omg, amazing stuff. i cam-whored like crazy, but i'll spare you guys. XD

Then went for dinner buffet, encountered crabs again but after lunch, we were all like NOOO..NOT MORE SEAFOOD! And abstained from it. XD what followed was more fun. SNOW FIGHT! They had this amazing light display outside the resort where we went and built a snow man (and failed XD) but it was too dark and the pictures are bleagh, but amazingly pretty stuff, it was. =)

And then the next day, we did snow activities where we had a snow walk (i fell, but laughed like nuts), sat on a snow bike up a small slope, slid down it on a rubber tube, then were dragged around snow on a banana boat thingy. And then went snow shoes walking back to the resort. Whole thing gave me a light frost bite on my leg and arms, but omg, super fun. And by then, the snow storm was so bad it was like...-10 degrees and Apparently Haneda airport had to close and people were trapped. Oh god. It was that bad.XD

And did i mention that the view is AMAZING? because it was.

The bunch of old aunties and my mum being supported by my dad after she fell. XD The snow was unbelievably thick. And the slope was bloody steep and tiring to climb up. (laughs)

So after that, we were freezing our asses off and were carted off to another part of hokkaido, Otaru, where we went to the omg, amazingly pretty MUSIC BOX MUSEUM. Oh and we bought lots of chocolates. And ate more seafood (sooo sooo good) and had steaming sweet sweet corn, and had my first taste of lavender ice cream, which is part of the 5-colors ice cream. It had lavender, berry, vanilla, choclate and peach. god. Amazing stuff. =)) Oh and before that we randomly visited some lake which was supposed to be a tourist attraction, but it looked like everywhere else: Snowed in. XD

THIS WAS HOW COLD IT WAS THEN. AND IT WAS CONSIDERD WARMER THAN THE SKI RESORT. XD

The hot trishaw driver. <3

DOLLS! PRETTY PREETY MUSICAL DOLLS! I so wanted one but it was FREAKING EXPENSIVE. i comforted myself by cam whoring. omg. it was amzingly adorable and pretty. <333

ISN'T SHE PRECIOUS?!??!

If i were filthy rich, i would have gotten this. like THAT.

SEAN AS PROMISED. <333333333333
Pedo me is HAPPY. yes, he's only 12. SO WHAT?!?! XD

After that, we were brought to the chocolate factory for the hokkaido specialty, Shiiroi Koibito, aka White Lover. It's a chocolate factory. a CHCOLATE FACTORY. It's SO PRETTY!!!

And then after that, we went to Sapporo and visited some street where it specialises in selling Ramen. most random attraction throughout the tour. BUT IT WAS WORTH IT. I FOUND THIIIS:

YES. EDLYN=ECSTATIC.

Omg, it was soooo awesome. my sister was randomly taking photos and was like 'Eh! ISN'T THAT...ARASHI?!??!'

I saw it. And i was like *STUNNED*

MY FIRST ARASHI AU POSTER SIGHTING! MY FIRST ARASHI GOOD SIGHTING! OMG....

I died and went to heaven. And this was after watching Arashi perfom on Music station LIVE on TV IN JAPAN!!! OMG. I WAS SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO HAPPY.

And then i managed to catch odoroki no Arashi 5 in Japan! I LOLed at Sho's failed Yatterman experiment. XD

AND AIBA FINALLY SUCEEDED IN THE INVISIBLE MIRROR MAN EXPERIMENT!! <333

And it DOESN'T STOP THERE.We went to the street market nearby and found THIS:

Zooming in,

NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WENT BALLISTIC.

I didn't buy any cards this time, but i bought a poster an a Hey! Say! JUMP! Uchiwa. <3333

A Takuya Kimura poster. One of the MANY in Japan. He's EVERYWHERE!! >:( Oh well. at least he's pleasing to the eyes. XD

I also found Queensway in Hokkaido. XD

I also found my first AU shop. And i wasn't dissapointed. I kept taking pictures of this bloody retarded rotating thingy, but omg, i couldn't help myself. I WAS SO HAPPY!!! =33333 My sister had to drag me away.

And then, we stepped into the pet shop. It was awesome not only because of the pets, but because they were playing Arashi's "Beautiful Days". HEAVENLY.

CATS. <3333333333333333333

After that it was a photo moment at the NHK tower, aka Sapporo TV tower. And yes, 6.30pm and it is PITCH BLACK.

remember the snow storm? It was still there, and it was THIS THICK.

The next day, we went to another seafood market where i saw the cutest thing:

A CLAM BEING COOKED ABOVE THE HEATER. XD

We then went to Daimaru in Sapporo, bought 4 graniph shirts and i organizer and 3 marker pens, then went to the factory outlet store where i bought one bomber jacket (a brand endored by NEWS, of all people.) and one pair of flats and 2 top-dresses thingy, and 3 pairs of tights.

The next day was the trip home, but because of a flight delay, we were given time to have a quick bite at Tokyo, and OMG, i SAW NIPPON TEREBI BUILDING,. THE BUILDING WHERE ARASHI CONSTANTLY FILMS THEIR A NO ARASHI SHOWS! <3333

And we had lunch at Yoshinoya, which is 332498429 times better than the Singaporean one. XD

and ONE MORE THING. You know about how the Japanese Erotica industry is like huge and all? I FOUND THIS IN THE HOTEL ROOM (and also in others, as a matter of fact)

Some joker pasted a 'm' sticker on her breast, but hahahah, it was so amusing. Agatha said that one of the AV models in the phamplet (which i didn't take pictures of because, well, it would be pornography if i did and posted it. XD) looked like Koda Kumi, who is HATE, but said that it wasn't her either way, because no way in hell would her agency have allowed that. XD

The end of the trip saw me getting this:

(the red tube is THE MAC SHIMMER POWDERS THAT I GOT AT THE SINGAPORE DUTY FREE!!! <333)
and yes, i GOT MY ARASHI IZA NOW TOUR DVD. And my ikimonogakari CD, poster etc..

and this:

Ahhhh..happiness. =)
